FAES Launches in Berlin its Report on the European Banking Union
Jaime Mayor Oreja, Miguel Marín and Fernando Fernández, the author of the document, will take part in the event
The document updates the report _The Reform of the International Financial System_ already published by FAES in 2009
Madrid, 04.10.12.- "FAES Foundation" is launching today October 5, in Berlin the report 'Rescuing the Euro', on the Banking Union. The event will count with the participation of the vice-chair of the European People's Party Group in the European Parliament, Jaime Mayor Oreja; the FAES director for Economy and Public Institutions, Miguel Mar?n; and the author of the document, the economist Fernando Fern?ndez. The presentation will take place at 13:00 hours as part of the annual conference organised by the "European Ideas Network" EIN, the network of think tanks and foundations linked to the European People's Party, on October 4 to 6 at the Adlon Kempinski Hotel, in Berlin (Unter den Linden, 77).
The new report updates the document _The Reform of the International Financial System_ already published by FAES in 2009. This Paper analyses the necessary points to create a European Deposit Guarantee Fund and studies the factors that have fostered the errors of the financial sector.
