The Global Competitiveness Leadership Program (GCL) at Georgetown University aims to provide a new generation of emerging leaders with the essential tools in order to become agents of change in the region. It is addressed to young leaders in the corporate, political and non-profit sectors with a concern for social issues in their country and leadership experience and savvy. In particular, the program hopes to prepare participants to understand barriers that impede development in their countries. It seeks to prepare students to create and lead initiatives to overcome these barriers and promote foundations for democracy, citizen responsibility, global competitiveness and the international integration of Latin America.
