In his address, Aznar recalled the founder president of the PP, Manuel Fraga: "Today, here in Seville, you will understand the special emotion I feel remembering and paying tribute to his immense figure". "He is among those responsible of the Spanish political Transition and of the passing of our Constitution that enables our coexistence in freedom", he stated. Aznar has wished the best of luck and success to the candidates of the PP in the next regional elections in Andalusia and Asturias: Javier Arenas and Mercedes Fern?ndez.
