During his trip to Israel Aznar Meets With Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem Madrid, 16.05.12.- Jos? Mar?a Aznar, former Prime Minister of Spain and President of FAES, met with Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, on Wednesday May 16 in Jerusalem. Both analysed the economic situation of Israel and Europe, as well as several security issues of the Middle East. After the meeting, Aznar delivered a conference at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, where he shared his vision on Iran. He stressed the importance of Israel having the support of its allies to be able to confront the challenge posed by the Iranian nuclear programme. Furthermore, he referred to the next round of conversations of the 5+1 Group with Teheran's regime to be held next May 23 in Baghdad, and stated that Iran must deliver a clear response to the demands of the international community and abandon the tactic of buying time while advancing its nuclear programme.
