Trump’s energy policy after two years
29/11/2018
The halfway point of Trump’s political cycle is a good time to review the decisions of his government. Portrayed with both criticism and praise, it is evident that, for Trump, energy policy is important; he has made an effort to comply with electoral proposals, emphasizing energy independence, the creation of wealth and employment and the reduction of the regulatory burden.
Trump has its greatest political capital in the fact that, regardless of its forms, the direct style –and to a large extent alien to the traditional Establishment discourse– with which he addresses all the issues is transforming the political debate in a broad sense, and this is also reflected in sectoral policies.
