Con la mirada puesta en jóvenes interesados en el pensamiento liberal-conservador, se trata de un proyecto de divulgación abierto y dinámico en el que leer y discutir las publicaciones más destacadas de FAES. Las primeras sesiones arrancan el próximo jueves 22 de febrero y se ocuparán de ‘Geografía del populismo. Un viaje por el universo del populismo desde sus orígenes hasta Trump’, la obra coordinada por Ángel Rivero, Javier Zarzalejos y Jorge del Palacio.

09/02/2018. Patrono de la Fundación FAES durante muchos años, presidente de la Fundación Cánovas del Castillo hasta el año 2003, la vida de Carlos Robles Piquer (1925-2018) ha sido un ejemplo de servicio ejemplar a España desde todas sus grandes vocaciones: la diplomacia, la política y la cultura.

09/02/2018. José María Aznar deeply regrets the death of Carlos Robles Piquer, of whom he has highlighted for "his contribution to the democratic Transition and the consolidation of a great political force of the reform path of the center-right". 

08/02/2018. The president of FAES has expressed that following O'Donnell convictions, is "claiming for the classical liberalism political thought". "His biography represents useful thoughts for our time, inasmuch as it shows the importance of leadership to drive societies to success or failure, to launch initiatives that promote reforms when necessary and desirable, and to speak of it today is appropriate and relevant", he assured.

01/02/2018. FAES Foundation has climbed in the global ranking of Think Tanks that the Department of International Relations of the University of Pennsylvania elaborates each year. FAES reaches higher positions in the world ranking that includes Think Tanks in the United States, where it holds the position 83, climbing two positions since 2016, as well as, in the one that only takes into consideration non-US institutions, where it climbs seven positions.

El director de FAES, que en la imagen aparece junto al presidente del Wilfried Martens Center, Mikulás Dzurinda, y al secretario general del PPE, Antonio López-Isturiz, ha participado en Bruselas en el 10º aniversario del think tank vinculado al PPE. Bajo el título 'El futuro del proyecto europeo', la reunión ha servido como una oportunidad para la reflexión y el intercambio de ideas sobre la integración europea.

Hace mucho tiempo que los españoles vienen advirtiendo de su distanciamiento con los partidos a los que han prestado su confianza durante años, pero, sorprendentemente, no ha habido una reacción adecuada. Esos avisos no estaban solo en las encuestas o en los medios, sino que se confirmaron en las urnas elección tras elección. El final del bipartidismo ha adoptado forma de autodestrucción: PP y PSOE se han despeñado juntos.
