Aznar entrega a Enrique Krauze el V Premio FAES de la Libertad

16/10/2014. El expresidente del Gobierno y presidente de la Fundación FAES, José María Aznar, ha entregado el V Premio FAES de la Libertad al ensayista e historiador mexicano Enrique Krauze, en reconocimiento a su labor en defensa de la democracia y la libertad.

Presentación de la biografía 'Javier de Burgos, el reformista ilustrado'

La Fundación FAES ha presentado hoy martes 7 de octubre el libro De Burgos, el reformista ilustrado, quinto volumen de la colección Biografías Políticas que publica su editorial, Gota a Gota. En el acto, el autor de la obra, el catedrático de Historia Contemporánea en la Universidad de Granada Juan Gay Armenteros, ha definido a De Burgos como “una figura compleja que no solo fue administrativista sino también literato y político de primer orden”.

06/07/2014. The Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy, and the president of the FAES Foundation, José María Aznar, have closed on Sunday 6 July, the eleventh edition of the FAES Campus. Aznar said that "since 2004 the FAES Campus has become a point of reference for discussion and significance in the field of public policy in Spain."

05/07/2014. This morning, 2014 FAES Campus held a roundtable with the representatives of the Venezuelan democratic opposition. They provided a first-hand view of the current situation in Venezuela and analysed the links between democracy and the Rule of Law. María Corina Machado and Julio Borges, Deputies of Venezuela’s National Assembly and Ramón Muchacho, Mayor of Chacao, participated in the conference and were introduced by the Cuban writer Carlos Alberto Montaner.
