Dear H?ctor, Please accept my deepest sympathies for Laura's demise. Her strength and her fight for freedom and democracy in Cuba have left an indelible mark on defenders of liberty. We will not forget her and she will always be present in our work. I have followed with concern the information on Laura's health state for the last few days, and today I have received the news none of us wished to hear. She was an example for defenders of liberty, encouragement for Cuban dissidents and an enemy of enemies of freedom. I would also like to express my condolences to Laura's friends, the Ladies in White. I know that for them her death is an irreparable loss, but I would like to convey my support and encouragement to them and ask them to continue the work they were doing with her. Letter by Jos?
