FAES Foundation organises from July 1 to 7 the tenth edition of its FAES Campus.
This year the FAES Campus will take place in Guadarrama, Madrid (Complejo Residencial Fray Luis de León).
The Campus FAES is devoted to study and analyse the most important ideas being discussed in Spain. Renowned Spanish and foreign scholars, politicians and analysts will share their views on issues critical to our future through lectures and panel discussions.
In each course, students -around sixty in each- will be able to talk to the speakers and enrich the discussions gathered around a large table of debate. The Campus is primarily aimed at people who work in politics, universities, research and in the professional field in general.
Some confirmed speakers are: Maria Dolores de Cospedal, Manuel Pizarro, José Manuel Soria, Juergen Donges, Fernando Fernández, Juan Rosell, José María Fidalgo, Gabriel Elorriaga, Luis Garicano, Hugh Thomas, Yoani Sánchez, Alvaro Vargas Llosa, Guillermo Lasso, Albert Boadella, David Gistau, Ignacio Gonzalez, Antonio Beteta, Luisa Fernanda Rudi, Roberto Blanco and Benigno Pendás, among others.
The courses are the following:
“Reforms for an economy on its way to recovery” (July 1 and 2)

“A new Atlantic relationship” (July 3 and 4)
Directed by Cayetana Alvarez de Toledo
“Elements for state reform” (July 5 and 6)
Directed by Ignacio Astarloa
Opening Session: July 1. José María Aznar.
Closing session: July 7. Mariano Rajoy.
