The Case for an Open Transatlantic Free Trade Area with which it updates its proposal to establish a free trade area between Europe and the United States. The former Prime Minister of Spain and President of FAES, José María Aznar; the Deputy Minister for Trade, Jaime García-Legaz -co-author of the report with Joseph Quinlan, executive manager of the U.S. Trust Bank of America-, and the European Commissioner of Commerce, Karel De Gucht, were the speakers invited to the launch, held at Casa de America. | Read the FAES report TAFTA. /27.05.13/.- FAES Foundation, through its imprint Gota a Gota, publishes the new book series Biografías Políticas with the purpose of spreading the work and thinking of some of the most important figures in the liberal-conservative tradition of contemporary Spain. It will be launched by the former Prime Minister of Spain and President of FAES, José María Aznar, on Monday 27 at the Congress of Deputies. The ceremony will also host the presentations of Jesus Posada, Ignacio Astarloa and Manuel Alvarez Tardío. The first three volumes are devoted to Cánovas, Maura and Silvela.
