La crisis institucional en Honduras ha sido calificada por algunas personas como golpe de Estado y por otras como destitución realizada en cumplimiento de la Constitución. Ya sea una cosa o la otra, resulta evidente que América Latina se ha convertido en el principal tablero de batalla mundial entre el populismo radical y la democracia liberal. En Honduras está en juego el futuro de la libertad, y la única salida posible pasa por restituir la democracia, dotándola de instituciones sólidas que actúen como contrapeso y garantía contra los proyectos personalistas y totalitarios de los peones del chavismo.
