FAES Foundation has just published the digital multimedia format (Ebook) of Geografía del Populismo: un viaje por el universo del Populismo desde sus orígenes hasta Trump. In a new revised and updated edition, the work coordinated by Ángel Rivero, Javier Zarzalejos and Jorge del Palacio, with the preface written by Enrique Krauze, analyses the evolution of populism over the years and takes a bird´s eye view of the phenomenon in different countries such as Venezuela, Argentina, Ecuador, Bolivia, the United States, France, the United Kingdom and Italy.

Prensa Aznar: "We have to face the reality of Europe with strong leadership and solidarity"

José María Aznar has given a speech in Budapest at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Democratic Center (IDC-CDI), of which he is Honorary President. Aznar has stressed the importance of advocating for ideas and restoring the politics in response to the confidence crisis, has pointed out the challenges of the technological revolution, and has appealed to the strengthening of Europe. "We must face reality with political leadership and solidarity among the members of the Union," as he assured.

Venezuela se ha convertido en uno de los países con mayor índice de criminalidad del mundo. El poder judicial ha resultado seriamente contaminado por el poder ejecutivo. La economía ha sido intervenida y dañada a pesar de la riqueza en petróleo del país. Las libertades ciudadanas y democráticas han resultado alteradas y recortadas en beneficio del poder omnímodo de Chávez y de su movimiento bolivariano. Los grupos de oposición han sido amenazados, boicoteados o expulsados de la escena pública y política. Lo mismo ha ocurrido con los medios de comunicación disidentes. Venezuela cuenta hoy con un régimen arbitrario que debe ser vencido democráticamente.
